Interns in our program will receive practical experience which will give them an advantage when applying for positions in the outside job market. Interns will work on individual projects and are also encouraged to work alongside other interns in various positions. Our Summer internship also has one, large-scale group project that each intern will participate in so that each intern can collaborate and cross-train with other interns in different areas of expertise and gain a broader scope of experience for their résumé and future employment.
Our internship allows students to take what they have been studying in school and apply it to a real world experience. We challenge our interns to learn as much as they can during their internship and to reach out to their comfort zone so that they will learn valuable skills that prepare them for their future careers. Interns will gain experience in managing day-to-day operations.
Our internship program was established in 2014 and has given recommendations to employers that have successfully landed our interns jobs. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to develop and better their readiness for the workforce.
Questions regarding the program and the intern positions can be directed to Jaclyn Moyer our Sr. VP of Programs. She can be reached by phone at (202)-802-6021 or by email at jmoyer0320@gmail.com.
